Yeah bummer about the goal but they are still holding their own.

How long to go? Tv One coverage gives no indication of who is playing, what the score is, or how many minutes have been played.

Into overtime now. 3 minutes left.

Was watching it in the Paddington in Auckland with some mates. That goal was a beaut!
Was pretty impressive I rekon. Bet all NZers will be happy tomorrow. I better say sorry and get apologies while my mates are in good mood!

The All Whites made football history last night, it was truly one of the great moments in NZ sport and made me proud to be a Kiwi.

Yup, stayed up and watched it even though I have Mysky so could have just watched it this morning.
They did well even though they where on the back foot for a while, they didn't crumble or give in. When they scored I woke up the missus with my mad yelling at the telly, oops. Never mind she didn't care that much.
Well done lads!!!

yeah that was great. We had a good opening 15min. we need to find another way to threaten goal. Not just aerial balls in. But I was stoked. The Slovakians have some nice quick passing aye.
I was watching online. Man did the panel stick it to the two teams as being sub world cup standard during their half time sum up!!
Well done for hanging in there and never giving up. GO THE ALL WHITES.

Yep watched, (until I fell into a alcohol induced sleep at half time but recorded it). Bloody briliant, first points in a world cup comp.
Those bloody hooters they blow constantly through the match do my head in though

I hate those things.
I watched it practically on mute. If they catch on here I will never go to a live sporting event again.
Like someone said in a news article somewhere, if someone takes one to a Premier League game in the UK, they will get themselves smashed very quickly.

HAHA, almost did the same, you can't watch footie without beer, it's just not the same. Maybe that is why I was screaming at the TV like a demented fool.
yup, those hooters are a pain in the arse, imagine what it must sound like on the pitch.
Woohoo, A DRAW, surely the proudest moment in NZ sporting history...93 minutes of soccer, a whole TWO GOALS scored at an average of one goal per 46.5 minutes and we (I did my bit) came away with a draw.
I can't type anymore because my eyes are filling with tears...........

Recorded it and watched it this morning before work. Great way to start the day.
My daughter gave birth to her 2nd daughter this morning at 10.30am. I was not the only person to suggest baby be named 'Winston'.

Good on you All Whites.........but........What is all the fuss about. Would this carry on be the same if the All Blacks came up with a draw against the 34th ranked team in the world, or any other national sports team for that matter. Now if the All Whites beat Italy I will be the first one to jump up and down and sing their praises.

The All Whites have a five hour bus trip, play Italy then a five hour trip back to base camp.
Will be a big day for them and a big ask, enjoy the moment, they deserve it.

perhaps if the all blacks were number 78 in the world, and rugby was the biggest sport in the world. then it might be comparable. As it stands its kind of like, yay were good at rugby, too bad were the only country that has it as its main sport

We did when we were at the basketball camps a couple of years back.
We are ranked at the top of rugby and nothing less than a win will do.
now think how countrys react when they draw with us, this is the same thing but reversed.

I was travelling around your great country this time 4 years ago. And yes you must be a very rare Italian, not following football. Every town we went through seemed to have a football field right in the middle of town. I did not see a set of Rugby posts the whole trip. If NZ were not at the world cup I would be supporting yours.................Forza Azzurri!.........Ciao
