Lucky he didn't snap the front end out of it. Again. Wish the late great JB got around to putting forks in the front of that thing!

Interesting conundrum: you've got a choice between ridng like a numpty as you do now and having a Britten parked in the shed.....or you can not have the Britten but you can ride like Stroudy.......which do you choose.......?

Looks like an overpriced GSXR. Look, even the headlight designs are pretty much identical!

or a GSXR looks like a cheap copy of an F4.

The didn't look much like a MV at first though. All the sprotsbikes got better looking with age till the R1 reversed the trend.

Agree with you there! Then the CBR Thou joined the R1!

I thought the latest CBR was ugly till I rode it.... now they could paint it pink and it'd still be the one.

Uhhhh..... which GSXR would you be talking about? Last time I checked a GSXR didn't have undertail exhuast and single sided swingarm. The MV looked like this a long time before the GSXR started getting skinny and light.

This is what GSXR's looked like when the MV F4 was released.

Very very pretty .. but last time I looked under the plastic there were oil lines, other lines, cables and stuff in all directions .. they used to call the Vincent engine the "Plumbers Nightmare" But the Augusta I saw was much worse ...

Is he?? I don't know my history as well as you guys but out of interest I googled 1998 MV Agusta and got this
http://www.autoevolution.com/moto/mv-agusta-f4-750-serie-oro-1997.html

210798

Looks to me like their design has been similar through time if that web site is correct??

Oh and to bring the thread back on topic, wouldn't it be nice to do just one lap on a famous bike like that. Just so you could see how it felt and say you've ridden it!!!
