Hey Team,
I know a young lady (24) who has qualified (uni) as a journalist. She worked as an intern for six months with Police, secured a temporary contract as a Senior Media Advisor while waiting to become a Sworn Officer, Today has been told she is no longer needed and given two weeks notice.
She was in tears today and is gutted as things were just coming right for her.
She is a great individual with a lot of potential in her field and written some great articles. She heralds from Palmy originally but moved here to follow her dreams and career.
I guess (have not asked her yet) anything short to medium term would be great while looking for her dream role with the Media/ Journalist??
