Bugger all WR250X's in the country?

I can't seem to find any WR250X's for sale here. I'm just finalizing the sale of my KTM 250SXF and am pretty keen on a WR250X (preferably an '08). After seeing some nice examples on SMJunkie I'd reckon they would make a great commuter.

I've seen one whizzing past my place here in Lower Hutt. Any NZ dealers import that model or do you reckon the one I saw had been modded over here?

I have never come across one. I can't see them on the Yamaha NZ site either. There don't seem to be a huge number of the WR250R's in the country, so I guess if yamaha don't expect to sell many of those, they would expect to sell even fewer of the motard version.
As far as I am aware, they are basically the same as the WR250R (except for the wheels, obviously), so a motard conversion probably wouldn't be that hard. Yamaha sell the motard wheels, but there would probably be something else that fitted as well.
I am very pleased with my WR250R so far, I imagine the motard version would be a very cool bike.
