Yamaha sr250

could anybody give me advice on this please, I got a 1985 sr250,indicators work great when standing still,,,the minute the engine revs up they stop working properly,you can hardly see them working at all...they just flicker a bit,I checked the wattage..thats ok (27W) per bulb,any suggestions please? tia.

the battery seems ok...I have the lights on all the time when riding...and also...when the bike has been standing a few days..it takes a while to get the petrol to the sparkplug...and it turns the startermotor time and time and time again...without giving up the ghost...so yes...battery ok.
