I have never been to anything like this before but would be very keen on going. Would also be going on my own. Is it pretty much open to anyone who registers? Sounds like a blast, and would be up for some company to ride up with too.

I was a rally newbie too. Went to the Cold Duck up Waipawa way in May this year. Had a blast. Brilliant bunch of people (hey - we are bikers so goes without saying).

I'm heading up this year... Will leave on the Friday so can take it nice and leisurely, allowing for stops and the like.

It's open to anyone. The Kiwi I think is the biggest in NZ
