But a restoration project will ensure you will spend more time at home with your family too :innocent:

Don't do it mate. Find a better donor bike.

You're just asking for trouble with that basket case. It's not even half way there, FFS!

It will break you financially and mentally.

So true...unless you like the thrill of hunting out parts, often wrong or expensive and spending hours on Ebay and Trade Me....
Hmmmm I've just described what I do....

Now...wheres that tea chest full of Triumph project bits....:innocent:

Pretty much applies to any old bike - erm - any bike really.....

But yes, quite a big ask to start from that unless you were interesed in building a scruffy rider bike??

Yeah I know,...a complete (if not running one) would be a better bet. That Ozzie one looks like a far better deal.

Fair call, but stuck in a garage might get me in trouble.
However I have FS-1 engine parts in the office at the moment.... :innocent:

Erm - no... I've stuck with the 4 speeders because they are sooo tough and, well, 5 speeds are so expensive... $1200 or so buys me a lot of gas ;-).. British spares is on the move though and getting rid of the used stuff, give tim a ring?
