Wondered how many dog lovers/owners we have out there.
I have a great 18 month old Lowchen by the name of Boris.
Submit pic's if you have them.
Wonder how many look like their owners. I know mine doesn't, he's got too much hair.

Love dogs - well, all animals really, except Mr Motu's cat (one has to draw the line somewhere). But don't have one (a dog that is). Not fair on them cooped up on a little section. With council rules what they are nowdays there's just nowhere they can run and jump and do doggy things. Very sad it is.

To bring a bit of controversy to this.... I have a cat. Crazy little thing too. I'll be sitting in the living room and suddenly the cat comes full tit out of the hallway and heads for the door. Never sees that it's closed though, till he hits it head first. Would own a Timber Wolf though if I could

After you have clicked on the reply button, scroll further down to Additional Options>Attach Files>Manage Attachments. Easy form there.

Max was a Curley Coat he used to weigh in at around 45 kgs, he was a great watchdog and playmate but he had a real ornery streak and if he didnt like you he would have a go he loved water and when he was wet he would stand beside you and shake, when he sat down beside you he always sat on your feet http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=43951&stc=1&d=1160884613

There's supposed to be 2 dogs here somewhere but I've been "trimming" the surrounding bush and the little buggers have shot thru! So, no photos of miniature Schnauzers.

I'm back off to find them before the high command returns.

Sometimes they're mans best friend, sometimes they side with the enemy!

I don't like dogs.. a dog, that wasn't secured inside it's property, ran out in front of my friend's TZR250 that he just bought a week before.. The dog ran out and hit the front tyre.. my friend now needs to get the steering dampner fixed, handlebar straightened, new top and right fairing, and a new brake lever, and the main thing, he wasn't speeding.. he was doing the speed limit, and someone's carelessness with their dog is causing him a lot of money loss, which should be spend on petrol and 2-stroke oil, not on new fairings.. STUPID DOG!!!

I've got a black and white one called Bo (short for Boadecia)...

Shes a bit munted 'cos the brain dead teenager took her for a 'walk' (ie snog the boyfriend and have a sly smoke) and got her run over by a 4x4 which broke her back. She bit the boyfriend next chance she got for which I rewarded her with a steak dinner...

Shes done pretty well to get to 11 but her tail only works randomly and she has a few other issues but we won't ruin her reputation discussing them here.

Shes a funny old thing, we rescued her from some drop kicks and she does not like little kids or old men with hats - no idea why. She still barks like crazy whenever anyone comes down the drive though which is a good thing and is always up for a walk and bunny chasing. Shes getting on a bit and refuses to ruin her dignity by chasing bunnies that are too far off so she pretends she can't see them... Quite funny really...

Bo is a good enough dog and greatly loved but she had a tough act to follow. I still miss me old mate Rhubarb - thats was a GREAT dog, loyal, protective, gentle - everyone loved her. She was the only dog allowed at school - they even had a sign made when she was elderly that said 'No Dogs (except Rhubarb) allowed on School Property'. It was a sad day when that ole trooper shuffled off...

My name says it all - as does my avatar. That's Bucket :) There's 3 more to keep her company (Sweep, George and Patches) - none of them terribly canine in appearance!
:D :D :D

Would love a dog but we're at work all day and it's not fair. Especially since we'd want a BIG dog (Lab or German Shepherd) - not one of those yappy pointless ones....

I'm not a dog fan,and that's 100% because of peoples poorly trained mutts.I really like a well trained polite friendly dog.

But now my daughter has come home to live, and she has brought her stupid dog with her. He's a German Shepherd/Blue Healer cross, kinda like a small German Shepherd with a finer head and big pointy ears. And as usual with a cross, instead of the best parts of two very intelligent dogs,we have a moron. She saved him from being put down by friends, like all he needs is a bit of attention y'know.I think he's too far gone to retain,he just doesn't ''get it''.

But the other night he damaged one of our cars in spite because no one attended his neurotic wimperings.....and I've laid down some rules. In just a couple of days with controlled exercise and not reinforcing his bad habits by attention he has calmed down a lot, despite the fireworks this week.Trouble is retaining has to be consistant, and today her partner comes home to stay too....and he's a military type who thinks you train by shouting and superior force. But I'm the type who believes you can train a dog by quiet dominance, the Dog Whisperer approach. My uncle trained gun dogs,he never raised his voice or hit them, but he was the boss and they knew it.
