Long story short I'm in need of a total replacement master cylinder for my cibbie. I've tracked down a Hyobag GT250R master cylinder locally for a reasonable price. Am I gonna run into any major issues trying to use it? The Hyosung has a double front disc but it looks like it still runs a single line. Are motorcycle brake lines all the same diameter or am I likely to have a problem with this?
Thanks

The brake line should fit but you might find that by going to a master cylinder set up for a twin disk setup you'll end up with either no feel and way more power or the other way round. Masters tend to be matched to the calipers they are driving so ideally you'd want a master cylinder with the same bore size you have now.

as above. Have a look underneath the master and you'll see a number. 3/8, 5/8 12mm, 1/2 etc thats the number you need to match up.

As above. It won't suit & will have rock hard lever & no power. Further you will not have a legal bike. Need LVV certificate if replacing brake parts (ironically to stop just this sort of mistake, who would have thought?).

Yeah I knew about the LVV but it was still looking cheaper than sourcing an original master cylinder from England. I've mostly got it sorted now after cobbling together bits from 3 seperate master cylinders. Still got a small fluid leak from under the reservoir.
