I need to get some Castrol power1 racing 4T oil.
I cannot find it anywhere in wellington (i have checked most places i can think of, bike shops, repco etc).
I have called repco to order some but the minimum order is 3x4litre packs.

Sooooo, does anyone else want some?
it's $109 per 4 litre pack.

let me know via PM or email glegge@clear.net.nz, and i'll organise getting some up to wellington for us if enough interest (and money up front) is shown.

cheers
Gavin

Try SuperCheap - they stock it in Christchurch so I presume they will in Welly.

Or get some real oil - try some Motul :2thumbsup

At $109 for 4 litres i'd want the drilling rig to go with it.
I use Mobil 1 racing 4t and it's only $80 for 4 litres at it's worst.

I buy this oil all the time, as I change the FXR oil often.
About $80 from Super Cheap. Richards motorcycles also has it.

Just noticed this is about the 'racing' oil
I use the GPS oil, the packaging is almost identical. GPS is part synthetic.

FYI Mobil 1 Racing 4T is the oil recommended by Triumph. So i'm not surprised a Triumph owner is using it! (I did too when I had my Speed Four from brand new).

Motorex in the KTM was fricken expensive too.

From a Mobil 1 racing 4 T perspective, alot of people have trouble finding it, so just a shameless plug I have it on www.qmoto.co.nz for sale so you can get it there.

I work for Mobil btw

I'm lucky enough to be able to get it from a Mobil Oil Depot just round the corner basically so it suits me great.
also can get it through a trade account foro my brother for $55 i think for the last one.
Seems to do the job ok.
Never been shy to change a brand if there is something else out there thats better for the same price or there abouts.
Suggestions anyone??

I work for Mobil btwI can get Mobil 1 racing 4 T way cheaper that the $89.00 that you are selling it for on your site. Which Mobil station are you working at?

I realise this is an old thread but I was looking for the same oil today and found the usual SuperCheap option at about $95. Then I stumbled on this at a tractor shop if anyone is looking for Castrol Power1 Racing 4T $42.69+GST

I bought some for about $60 from Repco on special last year. It might be OK in some bikes, but it made the clutch very grabby in the R1 and stuffed up gear changing. The engine also developed a loud ticking from the top end at idle.

Changed back to Penrite after a week, and all good again. I've been fairly cynical in the past about oil experiences like this, but the Power 1 was a disaster in my bike.

I kept the oil - if anyone wants 4 l of almost new Power 1 for free, they're welcome to it!
