OK. Had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Now KB's behaviour has changed... 1. Image attachment system seems to have reverted to how it was before the last KB upgrade. 2. Replying to threads now takes me to a whole new page instead of just having a box appear below the post I am replying to. 3. Quite a few embedded files do not appear at all - just get a blank hole. 4. When I post, my formatting is lost when the post appears... Overall it is as though I am back to the pre-updated version of KB...(apart from No 3 above). Any ideas? Ta, team, much appreciated.

I always wrap tinfoil around my head before viewing KB.

Well, yeah - I always do that too, but it's still up the shit...

There is a check box in your profile options for viewing attachments in either the new way or old style. I'd suggest you go through your profile options and double check those.

Is that in "general settings"?

Yup, General Settings. There are also 'format' settings in there as well.

Sounds like it. Strange. What version of Firefox are you running? (Help-About Mozilla Firefox)

3.6.6 I think it is...the latest download (this morning). I asked it to check for updates but there were none...

EDIT: Yep - 3.6.6

OK

Just in case anyone is wondering, problem is now solved.

How?

Uninstalled Firefox AND ALL ITS SETTINGS AND BOOKMARKS ETC.

Reinstalled, imported favourites and settings from IE and Robert's your Relative. All is back to normal. Somehow, somewhere, something got scrambled and was lurking in the saved files...
