Looking for a great cheap commuter bike? Or moving up from a 250, but don't want to break the bank? This would be a great bike for you. On offer is my 1986 Suzuki GSX400X Impulse. It has traveled 56,000km and is still going strong. Engine and gearbox are all good, pulls very well for a little bike. Oil and filter has just been done, plugs have been cleaned and the air filter was replaced. Has a replacement regulator/rectofier and a new battery. Brake pads and fluid replaced, very strong brakes on a light bike means it up quickly. Paintwork and plastic has gathered some 'character' over the years. Front tire is about 2000km old, rear was on it when I got it, but just passed a WOF today. WOF until 01/01/11, rego until 05/05/11. Cool - I remember these coming into NZ brand spanking new - I think they were $3500 for the first batch with the last a bit higher.

It was a really good price at the time and they were very popular bikes.
