Hmm, sorry, didn't mean to quote, but no matter.
There was one photo at the classics I was talking about the other night, but not sure who took it. Last year on the hut by the start/finish lane was a pic of Paul ahead of Schwantz and I remember looking at that and commenting he had to have gotten a copy of that. Not sure if he did or not, and can't remember which photographer took it. (one selling copies). And I'm sure it wasn't Nick Cole either.
Found it on his blog: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_x95tUu8EegY/SaHkNmnzkYI/AAAAAAAAAGw/mhBP_7ki-fU/s1600-h/Classic+Festival+070209+828BRBSP.jpg
Still not sure who took it, so if anyone knows, please PM or email me.

I'm not sure who really knows whats happening here, but I PM'd Rob to offer to display my 996Corse. Turns out it's Bernie Smith organising the event, better not give his cell# here, but for any others who are keen to do this for Dobsy, PM Rob or me to get the cell.

Bernie organising a show of bikes in a covered pavillion and although, tbh, they never really interest me, it's the cause that does.
Hopefully we can spread the word.

Anyone wanting to display their bike(s) can PM me with contact and bike details (make, model, year, colour etc.) I am collecting bike details to pass on to Bernie from others too. A few more will be fine!

They are looking for good cross selection of bikes to display so please don't be offended if yours is not chosen as there is only limited space available.

And please spread the word for this great cause.

Surely someone could have looked at a racing calender when organising this event?

There is more to LIFE than Racing Choppa, the family for instance

With all due respect Paul choose the racing so the family or organisers could have taken a major race meeting that clashes into consideration for a memorial that involves bikes and racing.

I guess im just a bit gutted I cant make it back in time ;)

The timing was to fit in with the children of Paul. This is the last weekend of the school holidays so the community are having the memorial service on the saturday followed by a lap of honour around Pukekohe, then the bike show on the sunday which shows the public the other side of the Dobbs family who are a very community respected family. It's not just about the "Racers" it's about his family and how we can help them.
