What a balls up that is.......
I want to do what BRONZ did, get as many bikers as possible down to the Vuaduct but rather than rant on about ACC, make all of them eat a chicken Vindaloo with kidney beans washed down with cabbage water, then tell this crap Auckland Council that they now have 'Farty Central'

I think they missed an important design feature with party central - the fire hoses to wash away the urine and vomit from the pissed idiots are way under-specified.

Annex all sides of the Shed with retro materials, or very modern materials, or both and reroof the original sheds in glass or photovoltaic cells (100% Green) , do what you want with the annexes , but keep the main sheds and turn one wall into a grandstand (you pay to get in), with the opposite wall showing a game in ratio (x-projectors per chunk of wall, use partitions for seperate games). Could you do that for $50 mil?

Few of the lads, carte blanche to sell sponsorships and I could do it for 50 grand. It would however resemble an extended Showgirls.

Paul the octopus has officially retired now...it is rumoured that he may take up a position in a local fisherman's basket!
We will just have to go back to consulting "Paul in New Zealand" to predict our sports results!

Hrm, didn't look at it like that, perhaps! All moot now though since the world cup is over.
