I remember I read a post some time ago (maybe 2007,2008) . make my eyes watered.
This guy is saying good bye to bikes, for number of reason, one of them is he starting consider more about his family, wife and daughter.
He didn't do much crazy stuff but for sure enjoyed his time on KB, and on the bikes.

Well, I have a friend who is also giving up bikes for more commitment in his family life lately.
Just wondering which is the best farewell post you have seen on KB?

and if possbile, please direct us to those post, Thanks!

Ha! In mother Russia bikes leave you!

If you get into biking (not just ridding a dumb scooter to work) you will never get out of it. You may stop riding, but you will forever be haunted.

I gave up MX years ago almost every time I dreamt, I dreamed I was riding a berm on the old KX100. I woke up and reality hits. So had the itch unscratched for years till I eventually saved up for the RG150, and the dreams stopped I live started again :Punk:

Not again, almost every time, the post I started became a "off topic" post in 3 replies. This one is a useless good for fuck all topic, so it should come as no surprise to you.

How about posting some biker related stuff, or fucking off, that should fix it.

The award for best ball of flames exit strategy so far is by a contributor pushing a snr member's stock over. All I'm sayin'.

Get fucked... if Mr 61 posts can't make any better use of the site than dregging up the forums crap, then I can do without him. You idiots can sugar coat that all you like in many different ways I'm sure, but that's how I see it.

Yeah, that'll do

Point being, I'll happily ignore crap threads like this out of politeness to long term members who were there, and are having a laugh whilst reminiscing over the (funny) things that have happened. JohnnyComeLatelys who're just stirring up shite for no real gain do not get that courtesy extended :oi-grr:

This one is a classic, well not in the classic way one may think, more the classic dickhead kinda classic.

Hitchers post in this thread (the very last) is very classicismistic.

LoL, this cracks me up, I gave up bikes for the family, lasted less than 6 months lol...... and it wasn't me, my wife decided that I needed a bike to keep me tolerable to live with.
Apparently I am easier to live with when I am riding regularly.... Motor cycling, keeps you lovable and in the zone lol........

His last one seems to be working :shifty:
Most leaving threads are generally a big gobfull at the site itself and the members within.
So the problem really is with leaving party not the site, 1 V 4000 or so.
