Thought someone may be able to help me,
Ive just had the seals done, and the comp cylinder seal (think thats what its called) all done at Spectrum motorcycles. Great, helpful guys there.
Ive bolted them all back on and as far as im aware done everything correctly.
2 questions.
How crucial is the torque settings on all the bolts ( I dont have a torque wrench) so have done them up reasonably tight but not to the point where I feel it will damage something.

Now that its all back on when I push down on the front of the bike (hard) it makes a sort of "clunk", almost sounds like something moving  but cant find anything loose....

Any help much appreciated.

most likely your brake caliper moving, or could be steering head bearings

Check wheel bearings as well but sounds like steering head put it on a stand and try flexing the forks and see what movement you have

Did you leave one side of the axle pinch bolts loose and work the forks before nipping them up

I have re-done it following the directions in the above post (dont have a torque wrench)
The knockl is still there and im 99% sure its coming from the hub/brake area? cant find any play or movement anywhere though hmmmmm

Factory Brake Setup?................Reason i ask is i have came across this on a KX250 that had an aftermarket "floating" disc that was normal for it to rock slightly thus making a clunking noise when brakes held on and handle bars pushed down
