Can I race this weekend?

In some weird thing that all the planets have alligned my ex-road bike is back running again.. I fully intended to race it in clubmans at the vic series but really did doubt that it would be ready by this round so havent got a race licence or any paperwork sorted.

Quick discussion with skunk the otherday suggests that I will be able to race in clubmans this weekend but there are still a couple of questions..

first and formost being the race numbers? What do I go about getting a number to put on the bike and what colour should it be?

Secondly... the process of entering a race without having done any of the background stuff first? I know its only 2 days out and am prepared to pay any late penatlies that I might incur just to get out there.

Possible or should I just wait for the next round and start the process with getting a licence?

Most clubs allow you to buy a day license.

I don't think there is a rule re colours for Clubmans. MNZ doesn't appear to cover that as a race class.
