I saw it advertised but didn't bother watching it.
What did fascinate me later in the evening/early morning was Gone Fishin'. Someone had built a prototype wheelchair that was usable on the beach. Geoff Sinclair's picture said it all, too (they then went onto fishing stuff, so I got bored and switched off).
Guess it was a good evening for Kiwi ingenuity on tv3 and obviously disabled people is an interest (the guy who built the wheelchair has a friend in one and knows how frustrating not being able to go on the beach/going fishing is).

it was on stuff yesterday too.
well cool. not that I want to be paralysed (HELL no) but I do like the idea of mechanised, weaponised body armour.
Yes, Ive read a lot of science fiction.

Indeed mate,imagine what will be available in say another 20 odd years eh.Intersting what he had to say about bowel movements etc and how things have got better with the movement.

Yeah that is Hayden Allen - he was paralysed in a motorbike accident a few years back..... he races a sidecar at Rosebank Speedway.... nice guy :yes:

Saw a story about these on Engadget and some vids on youtube. Looks very interesting and offers those that are in wheelchairs great opportunities. Great NZ ingenuity for sure.
