RIP Dad who died 2 years ago today of a heart attack at only 56. Just trying to keep his memory alive. His face is tattooed on my back and his legacy will live on in my baby girl Rose who he didn't get to meet. I am over in the UK at the moment and have just attended a memorial his local pub throw for him every year, he was a popular character and us English really do pubs very well, they are the hub of the community! Anyway not trying to get sympathy I just feel it's important to keep his memory alive and I'm not in NZ to put the usual memorial in the paper for him. 213060

Good on you, JH.
I remember my Dad virtually daily and it's been nearly 20 years now since he left this earth.

Family is important, all too often we forget that.

Thanks everyone, he was such a character and as clichéd as it sounds you don't know what you've got until it's gone.

I do know and that is why I go riding with my Dad every weekend that the sun shines! It is great to have a common interest and we always have fun together.
But it sucks that your Dad has gone...... :-(
