Well thats my opinion, why the sudden urge to change it anyway, I like it how it was. now I cant see whos online cant see if its someones birthday, things are changed around for whatever reason no rep point top 10 no bad rep top.
Its basically been de personlised to some extent.

Common Spank if it aint broken dont fix it.:niceone:

you can change it back by going to the bottom lefthand side of the page and choosing the previous scheme

I like it. I would prefer the rep system to vanish altogether IMO, and not becaue I'm on top now. It's kind of an artificial hierarchical model, and I don't really like the implications of that in the only functioning arnarchical system on the planet.

Don't mind trying new things, Thanks Spank.
But...

Don't like most of the new format.

Do like being able to go to the last post from the last 10 list.
Do like to see who's not working, (I mean online)
Don't need a top rep list (What a back patting rig up that is away!)
Don't need most post'ers. (only encourages one word crap posts & non edits) (Yes, you know who you are!!)
Don't need all the old event post on there. (56k is slow enough!)

Have returned to the light side.

I spent Sunday updating the homepage portal hack with a much newer version. The new one makes it much easier to add new stuff to the homepage and more.

Got rid of some of the clutter off the homepage. I need to make room for more useful stuff to come.

Don't need the top poster/rep shite as it only encourages people to post shite. Also thinking of removing the star/rep images off the postbit. They will stay active, but only viewable from member profile.

Don't need the month mini calendar as it was of no use. Especially towards the end of the month.

The birthdays never left. They just don't show if there are no birthdays on the day.

Online users back on.

Remember all column blocks are collapsible.

Come to the Dark Universe, everything looks better. :devil2:

Good on ya for all your hard work!! I agree with all the stuff you are doing but just not the new colour but that's just personal choice. Cheers for giving us the choice to use the old colours by the way!!

I am all for updaring and change to improve things but what one person thinks is an improvement another wont!! I like the fact you can pick your skin, Spankme is there anyway that other bits you change can be put as options in the edit section so the KBers can pick and choose what shows on their homepage? I know some sites do this but don't want to create so much work for you that you have to live on the site :no:

While I am here can anyone tell me why some of the posts are wider than others? It gets frustrating when scrolling down and then every now and then having to scroll side to side to read some. Any Help would be much appriciated.

Why is everyone anti-rep points?!

People make a big deal of them, like they're the bane of society. Getting rid of the markers will just be silly because people that want to make a competition of it will still look in the members list.

They're also a good way to show the respected members to newbies.

Ok just found this thread and after reading it all. Off I went to see what had happened... Yep I will admit that I hadnt even noticed the changes. But now having seen them, it looks ok... nice to have the calender events up at the top on the right hand side. I never clicked on the actual calender (box thingee), so no loss to me.

I never even worried about the rep points and who was in the lead.... only cos I will never get up to the top of the list, not with those ones up there....lol.

So at the mo, well done and thanks SpankMe. You do put in a lot of work into the site.

I liked it when it was a single box. Green = Good person, Red = Dickhead. Instead, maybe have our names in green or red, and those like Jim2 and Hitcher their names would be in bright green. Just an idea
