looks like those shit Oregon cameras that the batteries kept shaking loose and turning the power off...losing all your footage. Could be wrong but these look like them.
Meh...you get what you pay for I guess. Tachyon XC cameras are by far the best value kit IMHO..but hey, I'm biased cause I sell em :-)

Do explain (calling your bluff)
here is my Oregon filming my fat ass swimming with dolphins - as you can see the movement was not exactly gentle.......never had a problem with batteries.
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/uCipKoOdiKo&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/uCipKoOdiKo&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Microphone on it is shit however. But I think I fucked mine a little parking the car on it.
But a very durable bit of kit.

your footage is gentle action actually Avgas...compared to this (see..not bluffing):

Whenever you mount a camera on your body it acts like a shock absorber (even moreso in the water)...the true test is to mount it to a bike doing 250kph+ (crashing even) and still get crystal clear images...hell a mate of mine actually had his Tachyon XC mounted on the side of his Yamaha R6 and lowsided directly on top of it....he got the whole thing on camera! Mint footage.
heres some more footage just for shits and giggles :msn-wink:

righto...you go waste your hundy then bud....I for one have tried in excess of x4 different cameras before deciding that the Tachyon was best bang for buck...and if you get an Oregon, I'll say it now 'I told you so!'
Cheaper is relevant and maybe I understand your point but there is "throwing your money away cheap too"....ask anyone who has owned a camera and they come back from a hard day out riding, all excited about watching the footage only to find they have none...about then you realize you need a better camera that doesn't fail...and start wishing you had learned from other peoples mistakes.

Ive sold 3 already to mountian bikers and they are really happy with them, more to the point that can afford them and have footage to show their friends.
all three said they couldnt justify the $300 + for a cam.
I appreciate yours are better than these, but how about back off, worry about selling your own brand and let the people decide. They come with a 12 month warranty, and someone could smash up 3 of these for the price of yours!

For startes these arent you "Oregon" brand.. and secondly, how can riding a motorbike on a track be rougher than mountian biking or swiming with dolphins.
There are always going to be cheaper options, and noone likes to hear someone come out and bag another product!
Maybe you could offer your cameras at this price, at least that way people can afford one, and then you could leave my posts alone and get something more important done!!

Fuck that shit... you want to get into pimping your two bit fuckin wares on what is effectively a social networking site, then you'll just have to deal with people commenting on your threads. If you don't like it, then fuck off and don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out. He's quite right to point out how much of a pain in the arse the Oregon Scientific cameras are for motorcyclists, with there dropping of all your video when the battery fails.

It is I do it and have tried many cameras that don't work....yours appears to be the same design as the Oregon cameras...and I KNOW they don't work well with bikes:yawn:

People can afford $349 for a good quality camera that does what it is designed to do...having sold many of these to bikers (mainly racers) and all have been satisfied with their value for money. I'm not knocking other people selling other products, merely pointing out some home truths for you...the Oregon cameras are shit for motorcycle use.
If you say these cameras are not Oregon ones then whomever have manufactured them have copied their designs because they look exactly the same.

Post a pic of the camera mounted to a helmet
Post a youtube vid of a good 5minutes of footage driving at open road speeds.
Let us know what make and model of camera you are selling
If all three of those things look good then you've got a sale.

Unfortunately what that does for me is means I wont spend a cent more of my money with Qmoto! I don't like businesses that do that.

my camera (all the videos in my sig) were recorded on an oregon scentific (like the one being sold here).. The turning off issue is not the batteries moving but the memory card moving. If you put a match or something to hold the memory card in place then it works fine. resoution is pretty crap really but for youtube,,,its kinda ok. mine buggered out for no real reason and im thinging replacing it with a go proHD

No, because of Quasi's posts on other peoples threads about other products.
For me it just makes the the guy doing the slagging look really bad. Someone I personally wouldn't want to do business with.
