Notification won't go away!

I have 1 Notification that tells me I have Unread Visitor Messages.. Clicking on it takes me to my visitor messages and I read them, but the Notification stays. What's up with that?

How long has it been there? Have you tried scrolling through the pages of messages to see if that clears it? :yes:

This has come up before, where Profile Messages get used like a rapid-fire chat room, and it seems to overload the notification system. I think all you can do is keep going back for another look, until it eventually catches up.

my notifications does the same thing... i have had messages since and they do not add to the notifications. the three messages are the 3 that vinzor triple posted, i dont know how i am meant to clear them!!! :gob:

also, just while i think of it (but not worth starting a thread over). i have lost the ability to just 'reply' to a comment, i have to 'reply with quote, then delete the quote and write my thing. i hope i havnt not read something important...

yeah, but next to 'reply with quote' used to be something eh? But yeah i'll start using that... I guess I assumed that if i hit that 'reply to thread', then i'd start another thread regarding this one. :innocent:

Ah, that was removed as it was causing the double-post problem. The Reply to Thread works just fine.

I have a new incoming friend notification, clicking on it takes me straight to the page to do that, I then leave the default setting of show avatars and Accept selected friend requests and click save changes. The notification stays there, and it appears that the new friend is not added to my list either.
