The categories need to be mutually exclusive. A streetfighter category would overlap with the existing "Sports / Roadbikes" category. You'd then need to split sports / roadbikes into several subtypes - street fighter being one of them. Then you'd find you wouldn't have everything covered so you'd have to have a "general" type. Because there would then be too many subtypes - users won't be bothered about finding the right one so will go to "general" or the one with the most posts to get the most viewing.

Nice suggestion, but I don't think it will fly. There's also the groups to cater for specific classifications / interests (maybe you can start a group instead and link from the sports / roadbikes subtype?)

You could have one poll on the subtype and another on whether people like to look at the arses of dead horses. Maybe I'll start that!
