Wellington/surrounding area: Place to stay for a month...

Right, In a pickle.

Been out of work for a few months and things are well beyond tight, have been offered a short term contract in Wellington which I have of course accepted. Can't at this stage up root the family and move them down so I need to sort some budget accommodation for myself for a period of between 1 to 3 months or part there of.

Anyone got any ideas?, Would look at just about anything within a reasonable driving distance of Kiwi Pt.

I have a fully self-sufficient caravan if someone wants to rent me a patch of land.....

If you have a cheap room to rent?, Non-smoker,be at work every day and heading back to Wanganui on the weekends.
