Yes I could live with a job like that.As long as you didn't have to scrape up the remains like our firefighters do at crashes.

thats pretty cool, you'd hope all the extra weight wouldn't compromise the handling though, would be no help if they kept binning on the way to fires!

My thoughts exactly. Those bikes must be a bit of a cunt to ride when the tanks are full of water or foam.

50 litres of fluids plus gear? That's about the same as having a largeish pillion plus panniers on the back, and people do that all the time.

probably baffles in the tank? The fire trucks have it as they carry tons of water. Don't think the extra weight would be that much of a problem. The bike suspension is probably adjusted as it permanently carries the weight, so probably better than a pillion
