An expatriate kiwi looking in on things. I kind of miss the days when I ran a GPZ250R around the Coromandel (some 13 years ago).

Anyway, I’m now riding a TL1000S in the states (Virginia) and having a blast.

Whats the riding like over Virginia way ? Isnt that John Denver country ?

Virginia is filled with great roads. Lots of rural routes that twist with the rivers and streams or between farms. Then you hit the Mountains... I took this video with the camera on the back of the bike and a mate on his R1 following me (I had a SV650S at the time).

Er... One state over for JD... West Virginia... Lots of unpaved roads there but great white water rafting :)
