15 mil euro = 25.5 million NZ dollars for Rossi plus sponsorship money

250,000 = 443,000NZD for Edwards.

WTF the guy gets like half a million bucks plus endorsements to do the coolest thing in the world cant see to many probs except dicks like bautista,melandri get paid twice as much dont seem right:shutup:

I'd like to know what the truck drivers get - thats about the only bit I could do :(

Sounds like he's thinking of going back to Superbikes. Can't get motivated to race for 11th/12th position ......... (or $250k Euro)

Those figures don't seem to line up with others that have been bandied around in the past, the article is pretty vauge as to how the came up with them. In the past Rossi has been estimated as earning way more than figures qouted also last time Edwards re signed the figures being talked about were around 1.5-2m euro.

I think you're right. I remember a few years ago Shakey Byrne (however you spell it) raced for apprillia on their cube rocketship for a couple of years. When he came backt o BSB he was driving around in a lambo. Now he was a middle order rider on a small factory team, so I'm sure his wages would have been way less than what people like Edwards will be getting now. Maybe I'm wrong, and Shakey simply blew all his money on fast cars and women, but on 250K euro he would have blown half of it just on a car. In which case, he's my hero:yes:
