ahhh didn't think you had it yet sandpits open fridays better there during the week trails are smoother less people etc plus added bonus of knowing most other people are at work.

I'm assuming you've scored a demo bike to play on?

Cool, saves me a rather nervous phone call to my local KTM dealer... would be reeeeaaaal interested in your thoughts on the beastie though.

Steve let me have a go on his 350 today... Got about 30 minutes on it. LOVED it. Just about felt quicker on that thing in the tight stuff than on my 300..

Amazing bike highly recommend it(from the time ive spent on it). I'm hoping in 2012 they make a 350EXC. That'd be awesome.

its such a fun bike to ride, the power is everywhere and on tap, but at the same time its manageable and with the EFI there's no surprises, it felt light and i found it turned really well even on the deep sandy berms, having not had much experience on 4T's i had to get used to the engine breaking, which resulted in a few stalls, and a few NEAR over the bar moments lol, the electric start worked every time with out fail (no problems like on the 300 exc's). on the tight red and blue tracks at woodhill i found i had to fang the clutch quite abit, which i suppose could be made better with a fly wheel weight???, im definitely smoother on the 350 than i was on my 300 exc, I LIKE IT ALOT!!

hopefully its reliable ha ha h ah

Ah cool, cheers for that, very useful info. Does sound like it's going to be an awesome bike... I'm heading to Ardmore tomorrow, TMG are taking their demo bike out there and hopefully I'll have chance to do a couple of laps myself, although I suck at MX and it's not what I'll be using mine for.

Oh and of course it's going to be reliable!

Weather forecast for Saturday is rubbish but Sunday is showers so should be nicely packed down.

I'm meeting my mates in the carpark at 10am for a good days riding.

I'll be on my black/red zebra CRF250R turning up in a ridiculously clean black Accord... I know I won't be leaving in the same state though.
