Yeah, we a group of 4 ppl looking to do the same type of thing, have looked at the Cape York Tour, but this outback one seems better. Unfortunately, we only looking to do it in 2012.

Yeah but in the outback there are not many speed restrictions...... well in some places there aren't - just because you got pulled up for doing 99km :rofl: :rofl:

We looked at that but it just seemed a bit to techical on long days and by the photos you get very stuck if it has rained.

We shipped our bikes over last year & did twice that amount of riding over 30 days for about $5K/ea all up including airfares & freight. Huge fun.

If you want to do more gnarly stuff & lots of it having your gear carried would be good though.

Thats just epic mate. looks like you had a great time.:not:
we don't have street leagl off road bikes and Gixxers with nobblys just looks a bit off so if we do it this way its all taken care of and our gear gets carried for us and as i can't take that much time off work it seems right. just wanted to know if it was about right money wise.
We also looked at Europe aswell but fuck me that is so expensive.
