Big crash for Chris Van Der Drift

Doubt anyone would know but Chris is a kiwi (from Hamilton went to school with him) racing in a little known series called Super League Formula. Hes doing pretty well having won a few races. Last night he was racing at Brands Hatch when he clipped the back of a car and went flying. Broke his knee and leg. Lucky to survive really.

He's very lucky to get away with as little injury as he did, testament to how strong modern race cars are. Hope it does'nt have any lasting effects for him.
