You should see some of his earlier wings. They started out folding up to fit into the Porter aircraft and having just 2 jet units.
He has crossed the English Channel!

On the video you can see the throttle control in his right hand.

When I first read about this, he said he initially wanted to be able to take off from the ground, but it took too much fuel. I noticed on his updated website that he's working on a lighter model which will allow this (presumably because there's a larger fuel capacity).
