Thinking of buying a Pit Bike 4 smthing to muck round on, any1 kno of a good one to get, are 2nd hand ones ok? Dnt wana spend much, any help b gd, cheers Dan.

you'd be better off to find a good deal on an older japanese 85 if you want a 'mini' bike
at least they are made properly and have real parts that can be replaced easily and cheaply....
all that and they arent just plain dangerous in their design

If you want a pit bike, best one to get is a CRF50 and mod it up to a 88 I think. You can get a modded one second hand for 1k off trade me all done.

All good ive got one sussd, my mate had a CRF50 and did a tiny jump and busted the forks, so nt keen on one of them, have any of you actually owned a Pit Bike?

ive got a mate with a xr50 (which is prety much a crf50) and im still amazed the forks havnt busted on it....

yes i currently have a KLX110L, the new 4 speed one with teh manuel clutch, i have not owned a chinese one but have seen all the problems they have, and alot of pissed off poeple when they can not get parts for them because the importers of the bikes do not back them up with parts and service

I got a cheap pit bike now, its pretty av, only cost $650 tho, wat bwt Pitster Pro, I heard they were good.
