Well, this is all about you. I thought it would be interesting to have some self expression of what sorta riders we think we are, want to be, or what we think our friends are.......
You can be honest, and noone will know.........:Punk:
We have all sorts on here, and this might reveal the reality.:innocent:

You don't have up there an OKish rider - for that would be me.
I'm not happy with where I'm at and can't wait to get out and learn more. Practice a bit, then some more, and more and ...

I pretty much suck, so try and ride with that in mind.
Like to feed her some fat, but when others howl off I let em go.
Also take heed of the fact that of all the pieces in the equation, I'm the softest, and the most likely to be fuckered in the event that something goes poorly.

Funny poll. Does "I am a good rider" mean "I am immensely skilled at high-speed racetrack maneuvers, have split second reflexes and balls of steel" or "I seem to be reasonably good at not falling off and hurting myself, and I try not to be too much of a cock"?
'Cos both good be described as "good", depending on your outlook, but I'm much more one of those than the other.
Also take heed of the fact that of all the pieces in the equation, I'm the softest, and the most likely to be fuckered in the event that something goes poorly.
Now that is a good perspective. Bling to you...

Still alive and whole (ish) after forty two years of riding. "Careful" would be an apt description (these days anyway...less so forty years ago). Although, having said that, I have fallen off every bike I have owned bar one. And that one was a CB250 communter I had for a brief period - until I got so bored with it I stopped riding it...

I ride in all weather, but I've never really been out on NZ's roads or anything mainly due to the fact that I'm still on a 250 & have no money. :P
Also I suck at roads that I've never been on before.

Nothing wrong with the 250...they can take you all over the country.
Now, confidence is another matter. The more you ride the more you will develop your skill. New roads are always scarey, just go slower....who says you have to go fast! You ride at your speed...enjoy the view....be safe and stay smiling.

poll is broken dude, it only lets me select one!
most days i'm a good rider i reckon, sometimes better than that, sometimes worser. All times enjoying it :D
Also, I only have a cage cos I also have a dirtbike to cart around, could I still be counted as an all weather rider?

Needs an option for "knows limits and wishes to improve".
The moment you start thinking you're a good rider is often the moment you start sliding down the road.
The moment you think all the other riders around you are knobs is often the moment you stop having riders to ride with.
IMO the only person who can tell you you're a good rider is someone else.

how much gas do you use a week?! haha I can barely put $30 a fortnight into my CBR and i do a solid 120 - 150 k's a week haha, just scrub together the cents and gold coins, that or spend $5 on a rubber hose and and screw driver...

I've ridden with you and you aint a Nana. I've ridden with way worse my friend.
Ok me!!!! I am safe and fast.
Which means i ride to the conditions for the most part. Where the road is clear and clean i can be known to curry along and where it is of heavier traffic i tend to ride safe. Track days are a different story....it's all on for young and old.
