Well all you hard working folk out there, I'm off for a ride...... While your slaving away for the dollar from work, I'll be partaking of some fine cafe cuisine (perhaps a pie, and a custard doughnut/ custard twist)
It's my last day off of 7, so goin to make the most of it. I work in a pretty draining place so need a good break now and again. A 7 day weekend helps, perhaps a little too much, makes you like not working, enjoy everything else, and not want to go back to work...
Owh well, worry about that at 6am tomorrow lol..... now's time to play.

Have fun at work, won't you.:scooter::scooter::scooter::scooter::scooter:: scooter:

Well, I went for an awesome strop. Not an overly long one, but the roads were dry, the corners were tight and the warmth was................ lovely.
The only shitta was my wet seat, can't for the life of me figure out how water got inside the seat, but it did, and it wet my backside through so I looked like I had peed myself. Easy solution, don't get off the bike, and keep on riding lol.
Work tomorrow, stink, weather will probably be awesome now I'm going back, thats usually the way anyway.
At least I get to ride 58 kms to work each way everyday, that is my one highlight of the fact.
Life has some joys at least. Man these custard doughnuts from the Warkworth bakery, opposite the ANZ bank, are truly divine... If you ever ride through Warkworth, this bakery is a biker haven. You can park right out front on paved area, and there are tables you can sit at in the sun.
Johnnie the asian dude inside loves bikes, and loves it when bikers rock up. They also do the best coffee in the town, which is odd for a bakery, but a sad fact.

Best coffee/stop off spot in warkworth has to be chocolate brown, on mill street. Try a real hot chocolate you'll be hooked for life

And the best thing about a 6 or 7 day break is that a 'ride' can be a 3 day affair. :Punk:

mmm, I tried there a while back when it first openned but wasn't overly impressed to be honest, the food was nice but very jaffa pricie pricie like much of the town. People were nice enough but didn't gimmie the zing.
I went back today for a try with a mate, his coffee was shiet, and my hot choc was good. (Good being, nice but not special) Was a tad on the warm scale but looked yum.
I'd go again perhaps, but I guess the biker fraternity locally all go to Warkworth Bakehouse for consistent and low price food. Those custard and real cream doughnuts are bloody dangerous, and so too are the custard twists. Then topped off with a hot choc from hell from Johnny with such flavour it tastes good even after sweet shit lol....:shit:

Same sames :weep:

AND to top it off....... there was a certain someone texting me last night trying to corrupt my fragile little mind, telling me that she saw the weather report and it was going to be a stunner, that the forecast for the area was arse on the weekend, and since I only have less than two weeks left at my current job I should pull a sickie and go for a ride :shit:

I am now seriously regretting having this terrible affliction called a work ethic! buggeryfarking bollocks!

Got to work early to prep for a meeting before I could see what a stunning day it was. Meeting cancelled, bugger! got back to the office to deal with staff and customer complaints all day, double bugger, forgot my lunch, triple bugger, finally cleared all the emails and files and ready to head off out the door at 5.30 for the ride home.. boss rings, I need you to do a proposal for the big boss, need it by tomorrow... what a day... so feeling like a bourbon right now!
