A Word of warning.
Whilst coming home on Friday, at the Panmure Lights there was a guy in a white 0800 MR POWER van who tried in principal to put me off the road.

In the run up to the incident way back from the lights at Abbots Way & Ellerslie Panmure Highway he swerved into the left hand lane I was in. Once I had got away from him (splitting the laned traffic) he did it again after the 5 ways Panmure roundabout.

Sure enough at the lights at the lagoon I was splitting the lanes & he opened his door enough to close the gap between the cars - closed when I approached and then took a sideswipe at my helmet.

If I knew what I know now about some drivers who take an exception to riders who split lanes I would have avoided this alot more than I did.

Did'nt get his rego - just be aware of this madman in a 0800 MR POWER van.

Take Care.

I'd be tempted to ring that 0800 number and speak to the boss ... hopefully he is not the boss.

Meh, he wasn't hard to find... hes had 500GB of gay fetish pron forwarded from a gmail dump account now though... I wouldn't bother contacting him via his work email if you want to complain, I suspect the mailbox might be a little full

What would happen if we all rang him and told him what a wally he is. Maybe he would think twice about bikers in the future? Just a thought mind you.

Some time ago I took issue with the driving of a company's van. I emailed the company with a non specific complaint (i.e. didn't identify which van) and a couple of days later, received a reply from the BIG BOSS who politely thanked me for letting him know and promising remedial action forthwith since he did not want bad rep because of his drivers.

Contrast this with a truck I met coming up my side of the road. I rang that firm and spoke to that boss. He more or less invited me to have sex and travel. Bastard.

Sounds like a good offer slo - you should take it :innocent: .... course, might be more fun if the boss was female.....
