The idea to take a ride out to Shelly Beach today was well worth the initial thought.
I chose Wainui rd through to Waitoki/Kaukop, nice bit of road and going that way also gave me a couple of chances to brush up on my hill starts (thanks to fluro vest wearing traffic controlers)
Bit chilly at Shelly Beach but very nice all the same.
Chicken burgers are not as good as Puhoi's but did the job.
Called in to see the Kumu Kid on the way home, cheers Ned you make coffee as good as I do..
SH17 is in a shocking, really needs some attention from Fulton Hogan....

Dang, I knew I should have taken up the offer for a ride this morning instead of coming in to work.
Mind you ol' captain slow here might have held you up a bit.
Next time aye :)

I live in hope! Just have to get a bone density scan done now to see how bad the Osteoporisis is and whether it has improved.

Well think about the money you are saving on fuel, insurance, registration and wear and tear of your bike

What a lovely day to be swaning around the place, bit chilly in the shade and that wind chill was brrrrrrrrrrrr, but the company was out standing  There is a neat set of curves heading into Shelly Beach that made me wish I was on my own bike, but that can wait till my head wants to function properly again. Thank you lovely man, and Ned that coffee was very nice  Take that, as Mark makes the best coffee in the world

I had special cargo Dom, was just a 'stick to the limit/enjoy whats around you/feel the sun' ride.

I can always crank back the rear shocks (now you are lighter:shifty:) and strategically place a few bungy's Ed?

Its a lovely spot Genie, really it is.
Pic 3 is looking back to Helensville and blow my cone, if you keep walking off the end of the pier and keep walking, you will end up at Kaukopakapa (not that you will know where that is) but a local told me that. My bearings were truely not with me as I questioned it.

Well I figured you knew that was there, and lets face it's only the M109's and the odd tractor would have trouble with that corner any faster than walking speed :dodge:

2 albums before that.
Track 4 side 2 - 'The Original Soundtrack'.
I bought it for 'I'm not in love' and the thousands of studio overdubs.
Breakthrough stuff at the time, but then, so was Rick Wakeman once.
