Did it again...
Another nice morning for a ride although a little fog made for less than perfect conditions. But I blasted off anyway...:ride:
Got to Otorohanga and stopped for a thaw, a pee and a coffee. Checked the phone. One missed call. Voice message waiting. "Hi It's (dentist) here. We were expecting you at 8.15 this morning. Give us a call..." Like hell I will...:argh:
Holy shit, I did exactly the same thing on Tuesday morning. Mind you, I didn't even know about this second appointment. They had left me a message on my home phone which I had not picked up. I only know if there's a message waiting if I call out and hear the blippy dial tone. And I called nobody last evening so missed it.
Anyway, the worst day's riding has to be better than the best dentist's appointment, dunnit? And today was by no means the "worst day's riding."
I better remember the next one though...
EDIT: MY dentist, not MT dentist...goddamdumbarsemutterremnmner*&^$(%$!

I missed an appointment with the hygienist at 'The Gentle Dentist' in Ellerslie.
They invoiced me for the full amount of the appointment and engaged Baycorp to recover 14 days after I disputed it.

Their dentistry might be gentle but not their financial policy, huh?

maybe it's something subconscious...
it will surely be for me... i'm pretty scared from dentists. no. scared is not the right word.
maybe "fuckin terrorized" gives you the picture...
i'd rather jump from a plane runnin after the parachute than go to the dentist...
maybe because i'd never needed.

That makes it their fault. Fucking people who leave messages all over town on different numbers for you to monitor. I don't even have voicemail on my cellphones or landline. Either txt or email me. Or better still, fuck off and don't bug me at all.

I would check with Baycorp - when I tried to charge for failed dental appointments, I was told by Baycorp that you can't charge for a service that wasn't provided - eg someone doesn't attend their appointment means they haven't had the service and can't be charged.
(unless you have signed something on your medical history form, which may have something regarding payments).
Still dispute it though!!
