Yep! I was on my way to work this morning( in the car cos I discovered yeaterday morning that the X1 has a blown bulb in the tail-light...oops!)...anyway this bike went past me, just tootling , which gave me a chance to take it in and I gasped! OMG its that sex-on -wheels machine I saw a few weeks back... WTF IS it???
It had a really nice throb like a V-twin but I hadn't been able to get a decent enuf look at it to see any brand name.

Well I wiped the drool off my chin and eventually I was able to get alongside for a moment and saw that it had a fairing but it didn't have the usual Cafe racer short rear end with the 'hump', instead it had a really nice downward curving rear. The lines of this bike were just stunning.

So I followed it and he took my turnoff then headed in the same direction as my work, I decided to follow him to his destination and just blimmin well ask what the bike was... Unfortunately that plan got scuttled cos he lost me at an intersection due to me being in the car and stuck behind 4 other cars DAMN!

Oh BTW by this stage I had also noticed that their was NO branding on it but there was some japanese caligrahy style thingy on the side of the fairing.

So I got to work and rang AJ, woke him up! HEY! It was important!!! He thought it sounded like a Busa and when I googled, I found a bunch of pics fitting the description...except the rear guard was a bit different

Then I saw a pic on here http://2010hayabusa.com/Hayabusa_Turbo.html

The bike on the far right is what I'm talking about...that was it!

FARK, SEX ON WHEELS...I'm lovin' it.

Oh and another thing...I thought this was pretty cool. It was on the Busa website...

The Hayabusa derives its name from the Japanese appellation for the Peregrine Falcon, the fastest animal on the planet with speeds in balance of 300 km/h in its hunting dive.

YEAH BABY...

And YES! I had every intention of following this bike till he stopped...does that make me kinda sick?

The Hayabusa name was a tactical decision for Suzuki back in 1996.
They wanted to take the "top speed" mantle out of Honda's hands very publically.
Hayabusa falcons were known to be fast - and also prey on blackbirds

I'd take a ZX12 over a Hayabusa just on looks any day. The busa looks like it needs to eat a bit more celery and a few less pies to me.

Awesome bike. Cool pic, but what the F**K is the person on that website talking about?!

The aboriginal Ghetto turbocharged bike was endemic by a acceptable acquaintance able-bodied accepted as "Shredder" in the biking world. He had endemic his Ghetto turbo for about two years altercation free, which stands to acumen as it was already a accurate kit abounding times over in the US of A

'Busas are awesome. Got a pair of clangers the size of cannonballs.

Very heavy though. My mate offered to sell me his one once I got my full license.... however I was only on a Hyosung at the time, and going from a Hyosung to a Hayabusa.... perhaps not :shit:

This is quite possibly the most amount of awesome ever crammed into a single anything in the entire history of all things awesome -

Yeah, have to agree. I'm not a general fan of sporties tbh but the 'busa would be way down my sporty list, even.

Mate had one for a while and he seemed to enjoy riding it for a bit. He upgraded to a cruiser later though :wari:

Let's get one thing clear, the busa is not a 'sporty'. I changed from a speedtriple and that was very sporty. The busa is a very competent bike to ride those long distances in comfort and confidence and never with the thought of "I wish it had more power". I would like a more sporty bike (another speedtriple yes) and lots of others as well, but in addition to the busa.

No it does not. Would love to have seen his face though when some random chick in a cage had followed him just to check out his bike :shifty:

ha ha ha yes it would have been a MUCH better scenario if I had been on my bike LOL.

So you think it could be Toaster?
Righty-ho, must check his stats...

Oh and Genie...what you said about your jaw dropping? Yep! Thats the effect its had on me BOTH times, love the sound AND the look. Bet its a beast to ride ...and I mean that in a POSITIVE way LOL.

Oh dear drooling again...

Whaaat? You like that "sat in front of the fire now my arse is melted" look? Hmmmmm, that's the single biggest thing that puts me off 'em. In real world riding I reckon I'd enjoy any one of your bikes over a 'busa, but each to their own.
