The first paragraph is interesting and probably relevant to the wet paint thread. Seems funny that the American personal injury lawsuits in which we kiwis find endless amusement (for example the "darwin awards") would actually be the perfect tool for kbers to fight the wet paint issue. One lawsuit against the crown for exemplary damages for using incorrect paint would see a very quick change in attitudes.
