he is a rather larger man hooning around on a wee maroon colored suzuki sj50.
he wears an old school open faced helmet and blue sweatpants, and is often carving up on the very left of the road weaving in between parked and slowly moving cars during rush hour.
has been sighted:
riccarton road, and greers road area.
he is sacking out his wee moped very nicely. seen him quite a bit lately...

I'm pretty sure I've seen an offender matching that description a few times.

One identity of the 70s & 80s that frequented the same areas was a Dwarf on a Honda Z50 Gorilla  Von mannsburg was his surname.
This guy should be an easy spot though

Yeah, think that guy works in the building next door. He still rides it to work every day.
The dough boy on the scooter, seen him too

I see the big guy all the time. He usually rides with shorts, t-shirt and jandals no matter what the temperature, oh and no gloves of course. His bike looks bigger than a 50cc job though. The bike I see him riding has panniers and a top box. He rides far too quick for my liking, eventually he'll fall off.

The big guy used to work at a petrol station near me. One day i saw him arriving on it and a family was all openly laughing directy at him as he had to walk past there car as it was being filled up. Ok it was funny but that was just fucking cruel to watch.
He is a biiig boy

:Punk: there is a rather large guy on the North Shore that rides a GN250 - he fills the enitre seat front to back and wears shorts and jandals. Don't quite know how the GN copes though......

The Dwarf was still in town a year or more ago - I spied him flogging this bike down Kilmore Street.

The description of the guy is very similar to the scooter rider, doing about 30kph on the bloody footpath on the Straven Road shops about 6 months ago. If I'd stepped out of the dry cleaners half a second earlier I jwould have been a dead man or at least seriously injured. He needs to get his shit together!

Saw him yesterday (or the day before) when I was on my way to work. Good on him!

Haha, I've seen that guy.
A few of the 'strange' riders I've seen are either fat women on scooters or pot bellied guys on GN250s.

I have seen this guy on SJ50 though not recently. Sounds like the route he rides on is very close to where I live...

I think I know who you're talking about, he used to ride a GN or similar a few years back, and now has a Honda cruiser. Jandels, shorts and a t-shirt everytime.

Now now. As an XXOS SJ50 rider I resemble that remark.
And as for the guy who laughed at the scooterist in the good riding gear, did you not wonder what his other bike was?

Yeah that's him, everytime I see him which is about every fortnight, I just cringe as I start visualisng him coming off and the road peeling him like a banana:sick:. Always seem to see him around Heaton Street, last time I saw him he came out of the fish and chip shop on Normans Road. He took off like a rocket, It's like he has the bike in first and all he does is hit the starter with the clutch in and drop it as he sits on the bike; all at once. I must say he looks like he's enjoying himself.

Yeah, he's been around for as long as I can remember. He rides a hell of a lot and you see either him or his bike verywhere.
