It's about time the cops started fining inconsiderate pricks who feel the need to hold up traffic.

Now if ya can just get the cops to follow those fuckerz that travel at 80kph (while holding up traffic), then speed up to 100kph when the passing lane starts!

I love it and am glad the cops are dealing with the other side of the equation for once. Why didn't the twat check his mirrors? Poor excuse!!

X2 and there is a lot of them. Followed one such pillac yesterday coming home from Wellywood.
Is it me or do they fit a defined stereotype??? Not that i would ever single out one group but it would be good if they stuck to the mobility scooter!!!!

I sometimes drive slowly in my wee Toyota truck but I am "very" concious of following traffic and indicate left and move over to allow passing safely! (or even pull over get out of the way and stop)

You would not believe the behaviour of some of the drivers that you pull over for, they fuck around, pull up behind you, pass within an inch of your vehicle when there is a clear road ahead, it is truly amazing, some of them shouldn't be allowed to drive on the road!

If I am driving slowly at all I always consider the traffic behind or speed up until I reach a safe place for them to pass.

"NO", I am not one of those old cunts that sit on the white line at 70kmh and won't move over!

What a loser!

When coming to passing lanes, if I am not passing, I concentrate on 'not speeding up' cos I know how bloody annoying it is.

Oh - and leaving plenty of room for bikes........

Including the twat who was the subject of the story and who still refuses to understand what he did wrong.

If he refuses to pay the fine he may not need to get the CoF. They'll take his heap-of-shit truck.

I would like the cops to do some thing about these morons. Up the hills, down the hills and on the wrong side of the road.

The sad thing is that on the way back a cyclist was lying in the ditch all bashed up with the police in attendance, don't think it was one of these twits.

Sitting right behind them ... pull in the clutch and open the throttle .. gets a great response from cyclists like this ... just be ready for the brakes in case one drops it in fright ...

Did one better! Knew there were 2 cyclists up ahead as I was waiting for mates and saw them go past. Got call to meet mates and as coming up to a blind corner, only saw one cyclist. Took my line around the corner and there was second cyclist in the midle of the road and directly in my line. Apparently you are meant to give them 2.5 metres space when passing. Cyclist would of been lucky if it was 2.5 cm! Certainly put the shits up if the wobble I saw in my mirrors was anything to go by!

PS I was on the bonnie too so it was nice and noisy!

When stopped, he told the officer: "My foot was flat on the floor. I can't go any faster."

Well, by your own admission pal, your vehicle is not fit to be on NZ roads, get it to the wreckers now.
