Well i went in bayride in tauranga to price up some carbys for my bobber. For a pair of carbs for a 1982 XS400R SECA they wanted $900. And to be completely honest that is way to much!!!! Ive priced up a set of standard carbs from the states for $230. but that is even a little out of my budget. I brought the whole bike for less than $100. I admit it looked rooted as it was burnt out, but its algood now.
Now my question does anyone have a cheap pair of 34mm mikuni carbs?? Or some thing of the similar.
Im told that xs650 carbs do the trick. all i have to do is change jets and needles. I was wondering if just straight xs650 carbs would give me more of a kick or just put to much gas in.
