If I get enought enquiry's I should be able have the Streetstock changed from 150 to both 150 and 250's
At the rate that bucket entries are coming in I will probably have to seperate them from Streetstock anyway
Then you can enter both

Well that would be very nice of you. Thank you for realising that the world does actually revolve around me!
Just to be a pain, when do you think that you will meake that decision? I am just trying to decide what bike/s I will enter....?

Wow this looks like a heap of fun!
Count us in Nigel, im printing off the enrty forms as I type.
With Samantha in pre '89, me in F1 and the two of us campaining my bike in the enduro, we will have more laps of Taupo than we will know what to do with!
Now, to post these entry forms....

Hey Nige the $300 endurance race fee seems a little steep for us guys doing the solo effort, was it that dear last year? thats $450 bucks just in entry fees looks like an expensive Christmas in more ways than one :(

a normal race day is $100-$150. you get about 3 races of 10 minutes long, maybe 2 practices of about 10 minutes each, 50 minutes total.
$300 for 3 hours seems ok to me (in terms of track time to dollar spent)

I can't remember what it was last year but, when we took over the event from Andy and Chris, I have used the entry form they set up. Except for changing the addresses and bank account etc.
I agree that it sounds steep but it's all about costing track rental into usage time.

The entry fee for the endurance was $250 last year, but we put it up because we were running transponders this time, & also needed to make event cost effective. I still think it is a fairly cheap entry & I think the race will have a full feild, Chris

I think the entry fee is steep but id rather pay extra for a professionally run event.
Ill prob do it on the HP2 with the owner this year

so me and 86gsxr are talking about entering my bike in the 3 hour endurance. How does it work? How many entries accepted and what does it take to qualify? 86 having ridden Taupo once and not on my bike and Ive never ridden it so big questions over how good we will go. The 2 15 min qualifying? one each? and then the qualifying times are the fastest of the 2? or no qualifying as such? and all in.. for first 35/40 entries? Quite alot of questions that I am not sure of yet but the overriding one is the chance of paying $300 and then not making it into the race? We are far from professionals on very budget racing.
thoughts?
