Really the title says it all. I went through all the hastle of getting down to my plugs of my 955i Triumph Daytona just to find No.1 cylinder's plug is frozen in .Any suggestions on how to get it out without shearing it in half or stuffing up the threads in the head????:shit:

Have you tried spraying some WD40 or CRC around the thread?

Use something like CRC Freeze Off,give it about 10 minutes. There are other brands too,and seem to work better than just plain CRC.

Start the bike up and get it warm.

Warm the bike up and spay cold stuff on the plug then go for it. Still might mess it up though ...

That's not uncommon on the 955i engines.

The water drain holes get blocked easily, and store water.

The best advise is to get the engine hot as has been suggested (will cause the aluminium head to expand more than the steel plug), and, with a spray of WD40 or similar, there is every chance it will come out.

cut a slot in the head and grind it out with an angle grinder, wack a new head on an ur good to go.
