lots of people, myself included in the past, have asked for help on here from time to time. 'how good are these bikes', 'is this a good price for a 1995 xxxx?' etc etc.

how about making an effort to come back, and let us know how you got on, was the advice good? did ya get the bike? how about a photo or three?

Its noce to know our help was usefull to you, and I for one often find myself wondering what became of the endeavours entered into by people who only ever post questions on here

Perhaps a little sub-forum for those queries might be handy. Would save the same bikes being questioned all the time and build up a stock of info that people could consult when trying to select a bike out of two or three. Of course then we'd have to teach the newbies how to use 'search'.

a search function like that for noob questions would limit their opportunity to engage with other bikers etc. I dont mind answering noob questions time and time again if it is getting new riders into biking, and gives me an opprtunity to meet more like minded people.
