Yeah or we could lurk in the gas station up the road and join in at the end of the line... that would work if they were using the old roads rather than the new motorway.

Yeah at the top of the hill, we use that quite often to meet up with people coming off the coast. Plus it keeps us off the stupid toll road.

Thank you to everyone who has said that they will be attending.
We are hoping for the biggest turn out ever this year!
If there is anyone who doesn't/can't ride but would still like to be involved on the day we have plenty of job vacancies that need filling. If you think you can cook a sausage, sell some badges, help with some parking or be a pedestrian crossing marshall we would love to hear from you.
Just let me know.
Cheers

Can do. We are meeting at the BP in Silverdale at the top of the hill, we could do easy off/easy on at Oteha Valley Road and collect you, if you dont want to come up to Silverdale. Have not thought about timings yet, leave that to Maha, he is the keeper of all things ride.

His online name is Bodir, we think it means cabbage in German...
But yeah, fanatstic turn out...about 540 bikes/$18,000 odd raised this year.
All the lights fazed green the whole way, awesome job by the Police.
Traffic duties went well, car people weren't bothered at all at my point.
Had to direct a few of them as well.
And whats with that REPSOL HONDA fulla, I motioned for him to turn right but did he take any notice? nooooooo:corn:

Wasn't it a fantastic day? I am so knackered  My personal thanks has to go to the Police for today. Not only did they stop traffic and facilitate the ride, most of them were busy when I was attempting to catch the ride :dodge: Fantastic effort WIMA! You all should be very proud of yourselves, and no doubt you will sleep well tonight.
