Why? Henderson Yamaha have buggered off to the shore, had no idea the move was on the cards. They have moved into the Yamaha dealership in Wairau road.
Could be wrong but that's no bike shops out west now :shit:
Think the workshop is going to be there or a little while though.......as in a few weeks

Having them there was handy for getting a WOF without going to the useless council or VTNZ at least they handled the bike properly

That sux. Been using them for the last 5 years for WOF's and repairs. Being close to home made it easier to arrange alternative transport whenever I had to leave the bike with them.
Other than a couple of hiccups they always provided good service.
What am I going to do now?

Neverrrrrrr!!! I is a westie bro!
Heard back from my email to Paul;
Hi Graham,
Thankyou for your email. I understand and appreciate you may not wish to travel to us so I have set up a pick up/drop off service for bikes requiring servicing and parts ordered through our parts department at Henderson Hire (2 View Road)two doors up from our Henderson shop. All you need to do is phone us (even on our old numbers) to arrange a booking, drop your bike off at Henderson Hire and we will pick it up, service it and drop it back to Henderson Hire where you can pay for it at Henderson Hire and still experience our friendly, efficient service. This will come into effect on Monday 30th August
Thankyou again Graham for your support and I hope I will see you at our new shop. Come for a ride and check it out
Best Regards

I've been a fairly regular client of HY for about three years. Seen a lot of change in that time.
Clearly Paul's lease was up for negotiation and the terms weren't to his liking. I can but guess who the greedy landlord is.
But even when Adam owned the place there was a sense of 'just surviving'.
A business has to go, to a certain extent, with demographics. Maybe Paul thinks the Shore has a better demographic than here out West.
God knows, he has a shit load of competition in the golden mile, and he's not in that mile (Barry's Pt Rd). In Wairau Rd, he's close to the huge Chinese community of the Shore, but who last saw a ping riding a Yammie?
Dunno. A-grade pain in the arse for me.
Good luck Paul. I hope it works for you. Personally I would have fired the sales manager, downsized road-bike stock and got more involved in the farm machines. But hey, I'm just a guy with no skin in your game so I can give advice all day long without penalty. You do whatever you think is best for you.
I'll follow you over there. Any excuse for a ride. :--))

My mates dirtbike which there in the showroom for sale on behalf was stolen during a break in, it was the only bike that was stolen, and he was told they werent liable - and left him out of pocket. wtf.
definately wont be using them. especially since Adam sold the company. never ever been greeted in there even.
will be sticking with the Baron for all my Yammy requirements methinks.
