216883216882Mrs Shrek sat her learners on Friday & passed, while I went bush with rifle on bike, came home late Sat so to late to go for ride
Sunday arvo off we :ride: on our 1st ride together, we went around a small block 65k's approx there was a fear bit of traffic heading back to town from the ski fields  so the plan was I would follow her & when cars came up behind us, she would move left & I would move out & when there were no yellow lines or traffic I too would move left
she had her L plate on & stuck to the 70kph limit  anyway on our way out of Roxburgh we had a cue of traffic & when it was clear I moved left & there were toots & waves further up the road & another cue goes past & as the straight was coming to an end a yellow line appears a white van still over took cutting back in on Mrs S but not that close that she or I :sweatdrop: then on a quite back road & move L plate as it hid indercator when turning left, all in all I was impressed with the cadges & their attitudes

going past air field on home run, there's a nice straight no traffic :shifty: must get rid of carbon build up as I was in 3rd or 4th gear most of time :innocent:

well have bike will ride  & as I don't work mondays we gone
headed for Alex, Clyde then Spingvale for a coffee at Jantar's then back to Clyde & home
this time Mrs S did 80kph as she felt that 70 was to slow for a busy HW we had a large B Train & 4 axle with trailer pass both of them were just great as both of them saw that there was a learner up front & gave her the space she needed :niceone:
all in all again was a great day for a ride with only one  that decieded to try a push past me then cut Mrs off :2guns: middle aged female & heres me thinking it would more likely have been 4X4's or young ones but they were all great :Punk: it would be great if it stays like this every time we go riding,
:shifty: riding shotgun is not that bad when the view is that good

Well done guys! Mrs Jackal and I did the same thing on Sunday but not as far as you by the sounds of it. Got across the S.H.1 Ashburton bridge into town for the first time for a coffee, petrol and a bit of practice through intersections and traffic. Next fine weekend it is a trip out of town. You are spot on Shrek regarding 'the view' while riding shotgun. I can sit behind Mrs Jackals VL all day. Though have to be careful about 'hazard fixation'!!!! Keep up the good work.
