Nothing quite like spending $600 on a clutch cover to make you wish you had protection BEFORE you crashed :(
I'm thinking of a full roll cage like a stock car next :)

Thanks for that Choppa. Silly of me to try and run a buisness, that gives a huge amount of it;s profit back to the racing community.
I have NO problem with any one getting of there own arse and finding what they want at a cheaper price, again, Thanks for pointing out where people can find goods cheaper.
Of course the only negative to the racing community with this side of life is, that as MotoD Profit margins go down, so does the genorosity of what they give to the sport, but hey, what does that matter:sunny:
Lets all just look on the bright side of life eh:shifty:

Yep, irrespective of who it is and whether criticism is justified or unjustified slinging mud from a position of anonymity is out of order.
I dont happen to agree with the way Shaun goes about many things but at least he has the courage and common decency to be up front who he is.

Bling if I cud Choppa, advertise something as making ur racing cheaper by buying preventive gear at $100+ more than you could pay by directly importing (in the fine print) while yet maintaining that its helping the community. Priceless. Love this site.

Makes me laugh to:yes: I said, " Make your racing cheaper" and by using the covers I was pushing, does just that, it saves you, an engine case, oill, gasket, time, and poissibly other riders that may crash in your OIL, and also saves officials running track days or Race meetings, TIME, with NO oil on the track:yes::yes:
The fact that I had a mark up on them is life in buisness sport, time on the net to research stuff, time on the net to purchase parts, import tax, gst, Phone account, and lots of other over heads, (O, and not to mention the free time and advise I give out to people at will) but as I said before, lets just all look on the brite side of life

I'm happy to remain anonymous since I'm not touting for business on a social networking site...
There will always be those who want simply the cheapest price.
There will also be those who will deal with you for all the reasons you list and because they desire a relationship whereby they can get additional value by seeking other information.
You can't actually train potential buyers but you can decide who you'd rather deal with.
Deep breaths.

Yes I can agree with much of what you have said but ''touting for business'' is not neccessarily a major pre-requisite for being totally transparent about who you are.
Mud was being slung on this thread in a very unpleasant manner and its irrelevant who it was thrown at and whether people disagreed or agreed. What is objectionable is that the person slinging the mud is hiding behind a veil of anonymity.
As for myself I have very strong views on several subjects and its arguable that certain things I say will upset some sensitivities. But Im not afraid to put my name to it. That goes for Shaun also, like I said there is a lot that I find disagreeable about him but at least when he has something to say that is ''unpleasant'' you know who its coming from.

Not sure about you, due to sign in on here, but I was dioagnosed with having it, after I had 10 people who have know me since I was 6 years old and up, write stories about the Shaun Harris they have known over the years, and paid a Physiciatrist to read and annalyse the stories, and BINGO, he was sure so prescribed EPILLIM for me, 6 weeks later after a blood test, he upped the dosage, one week later I could feel the old shaun ( Prior to the accident back, one more week, and a new ME was there, one I have never known, as I can count to 10 now before saying F-----k OFF, ( And when I do now, I really mean it) I do plan better and dot the izzz and cross the Tzzzz, WOW,. what I have missed out on due to this syndrome, eratic dession making, poor anger control etc etc etc, if it was not my passion for bikes, I would have become a Prison living person for sure.
Am I embarrased to declare such a thing on a Public forum, FUCK NO, I hope actually it may help a few people take a look at there own lives or close people around them and perhaps help them to move forward. Maybe now I understand why I thought (John Kerwin? re spelling) was such a DAM HERO to get on TV and Talk about depression.
Obviously it has been with me for the ride all my life, but it took the major head injury I had to LOOSE any control of what I used to have of it, and there was me just thinking most people were lazy useless slow bastards hahahaha
