hi im looking at getting a zr250 and i just wondering does anyone know if you could put a zxr250 motor in it?

legally yes, if it doesn't make more than 15% more power.

But the chances of you getting it running right without all the associated fueling, exhaust & ignition from the donor bike are close to ziltch. + you'd lose money on it. It's simply not worth it.

And this is before I even know what a ZR250 looks like. It isn't a car, it's a different ballgame.

Yeah ditto. They make pretty much the same power, just the ZR does it more around the midrange.
